Job Summary
Manage truck and trailer movement across the yard while supporting the service team with parts receiving and local vendor runs. Oversee lot organization, facility upkeep, and routine transport between facilities, ensuring all operations run at full speed. Perform daily diagnostic imaging coverage including pick up and delivery of trucks, trailers, and parts. Maintain shop, grounds, and vehicle standards while adhering to U.S. Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies. Requires Class A CDL with air brakes, hazmat, and tank endorsements, plus five years of straight truck or semi tractor experience.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with air brakes, hazmat and tank endorsements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience driving a straight truck or semi tractor
- Must meet and maintain Company insurability standards
- Must possess and maintain current D.O.T. Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, 20 lbs. of force frequently, and 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
- Visual requirements include clarity of vision at a distance of more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet without correction, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Follow U.S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T) regulations regarding petroleum tanks, as well as the policies found in Seneca Tank's Safety Manual
- Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, job candidates are required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug-screen
- Willingness and ability to travel for occasional overnight stays
