Job Summary
Operate a tug to safely move and preload trailers within the yard, completing regular yard checks to ensure equipment and operational areas are safe and maintained. Conduct reefer and Dangerous Goods (DG) checks in accordance with company requirements, while maintaining general tidiness and organisation of the yard and equipment. Assist with the movement and delivery of containers to site when required, following all company safety, compliance, and operational procedures. This permanent full-time position in Tottenham, Victoria, supports efficient container handling and storage solutions within a trusted port-related logistics leader.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a transport, logistics, warehouse or yard environment
- HC License required
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating a tug, yard truck or similar equipment
