Job Summary
Yard Driver responsible for moving trailers with a spotter truck, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring safety and accuracy of trailer movements. Key duties include operating spotter trucks, hooking/unhooking trailers, keeping the yard clear, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, maintaining records of trailer movements, and coordinating with warehouse staff to position trailers correctly. Requires at least six months of yard-driving experience, ability to back trailers into dock doors, and adherence to safety procedures with PPE. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.
