Job Summary
Safely operate a yard truck to move and position trailers throughout the facility, spot trailers at designated loading and unloading docks, and move them between the yard, docks, and parking areas. Connect and disconnect trailers safely while performing pre-operation inspections. Communicate with warehouse and shipping/receiving teams regarding trailer movements and maintain accurate trailer locations and yard organization. Follow all yard traffic rules and safety procedures, keeping the yard organized and free of hazards. Assist with loading, unloading, and other warehouse duties as needed. This role requires a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and experience operating a tractor-trailer or yard truck. Monday–Friday, First Shift, Rome, GA, $16.00 per hour or more.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Previous yard truck/yard dog or trailer spotting experience
- Experience operating a tractor-trailer or yard truck
