Job Summary
Safely move trailers throughout the facility yard and position them at loading and unloading docks. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard equipment, communicate with shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while completing assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Assist with additional yard or warehouse duties as needed. This seasonal position supports the Pistachio Season in Terra Bella, CA, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to safely maneuver trailers in tight spaces
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours during peak season as needed
- Strong attention to safety and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Yard Dog, Yard Hostler, or trailer-moving experience
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
