Job Summary
Supervise fabrication and assembly of Prefabricated Electrical Substation Buildings units while overseeing Quality Inspection, pre-commissioning, and Yard Acceptance Testing activities. Track delivery schedules for PESBs and associated milestones, expediting free-issued equipment and following up with vendors. Monitor installation, testing, and pre-commissioning progress to identify delays and drive corrective actions. Enforce safety culture rules and resolve quality issues through Non-Conformance and Corrective Action Reports. Maintain a visible presence at the yard, participating in daily reviews with contractor and supplier teams. Issue weekly progress reports to the Project management team. This resident role in Batam supports the Mozambique LNG project's international operations.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years' experience in a related discipline
- sound general knowledge of the oil & gas industry
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Solid understanding of the areas critical to the success of large, complex projects: safety, environment, work organization, cost, schedule, quality, organizational competency and reputational risk
- Working knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia

- Background in electrical substation design, fabrication, assembly and/or commissioning
