Job Summary
Assist customers with orders, loading, and traffic control while solving issues and reading invoice tags. Stock lumber and other products in appropriate areas, clearing aisles of wrapping material. Safely operate forklifts, arm saws, and table saws using required PPE. Work outdoors year-round standing or walking eight hours daily, handling materials up to 60 lbs. Use radios for yard communication and manage returns with order stickers. Perform duties as assigned by supervisors to maintain safety and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to safely operate heavy machinery and power vehicles such as forklifts
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment through-out the year with various weather changes
- Must maintain safe working practices at all times
- Must be able to lift/carry 60lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull 60+ lbs.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision
- All mobility motions are required occasionally for indoor and outdoor environments (standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, squatting, and climbing)
