Job Summary
Report to the yard lead for daily briefings and assist in transferring pipe material through loading, unloading, and verification stages. Route trucks to destinations, maintain housekeeping by clearing debris, and assist with racking and inventory control per instructions. Follow forklift operator guidance and complete required documentation while communicating any issues with material, racks, or trucks. Work a flexible schedule that may include overtime in a manufacturing environment, adhering to all safety rules and PPE policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to lift 25/50 pounds regularly
- Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 40 pounds
- Ability to work in loud, hot environments/extreme weather while wearing required PPE
- Ability to see 20-20 when corrected
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Ability to respond quickly to sounds
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Employee must be able to work with a flexible schedule which may require over-time
- At least 6 months' experience or on the job training
Desired Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and yard instruments
