Yard Attendant - Full Time

Job Summary
Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly yard and storage lot while ensuring timely retrieval of boats, trailers, motors, and ATVs. Operate a forklift or tractor to unload incoming units, transport them to designated placement areas, and stage outgoing units for shipment or customer pickup. Verify packing lists, invoices, serial numbers, and accessories during loading, and assist with washing, vacuuming, and monthly inventories. Confirm paperwork correctness and ensure engines are rigged to the correct boats. Perform these duties outdoors in all weather conditions while supporting a strong commitment to customer service and maintaining effective working relationships with management and associates.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position
- Successful completion of DOT physical may be required
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate a Fork Lift
- Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work out of doors in all kinds of weather
