Job Summary
Porter / Yard Worker responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, inspecting equipment before and after rental, and documenting any lost or damaged items. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to communicate with customers, basic math, and familiarity with MS Office; opportunities for advancement into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles; full-time position with extensive on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- General mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focused
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more
