Job Summary
Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property while maintaining a written maintenance schedule and servicing items as necessary to meet specifications. Inspect equipment prior to and after rentals to document any lost or damaged items. Communicate effectively with customers, perform basic math skills, and utilize Microsoft Office Suite tools. Maintain safety focus while lifting 50 pounds or more and working indoors or outdoors as required. This role supports Sunbelt Rentals' growth as the fastest-growing rental business in North America, offering advancement into mechanic, driver, or customer service positions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
- General mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focus
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to bend
- Ability to squat
- Ability to crouch
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work indoors
- Ability to work outdoors
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
