Job Summary
Yard Associate role handling stationing and retrieval of equipment on-site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document losses or damages. The position may involve servicing equipment to meet specifications and requires strong safety awareness, basic mechanical aptitude, and effective communication with customers. Candidates should be prepared for indoor/outdoor work with physical duties (lifting 50 pounds or more) and have familiarity with common construction tools; experience with repair of mechanical equipment is a plus. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- General mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focused
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
