Job Summary
Porter / Yard Worker responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment at the location, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any losses or damages. The role may service equipment to meet specifications and requires basic mechanical aptitude, effective customer communication, math skills, and safety awareness. Training is provided, and the position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for advancement into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Basic math skills
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- General mechanical aptitude
- Safety-focused
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors as required by job
