Job Summary
Porter / Yard Worker tasked with stationing and retrieving equipment at the location, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, potentially servicing equipment to meet specs, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any damages. Requires basic mechanical aptitude, ability to perform simple math, and strong communication with customers. Will work in a safety-focused environment with on-the-job training provided; opportunities for advancement into mechanic, driver or customer service roles. Benefits include a comprehensive package and paid training; location in Wake Forest, NC with full-time employment at Sunbelt Rentals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
- Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
- Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
- Safety-focused
- Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
