Job Summary
The Yard Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently loading building materials for customers, unloading and receiving vendor deliveries, stocking and organizing materials, accurately recording merchandise returns, and maintaining yard cleanliness. Key skills include the ability to operate equipment, a valid driver's license, and physical strength to lift loads over 50 pounds. A High School diploma or GED is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license
- High School diploma or GED required
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50+ pounds at times
- Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch
- Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally
- Ability to stand/walk for 4 -10 hours daily
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred
- Desire to learn and grow professionally
- Self-motivated and organized
