Job Summary
Load building materials for customers safely and efficiently in the yard, receive and unload vendor deliveries, stock and organize materials, label and track special-order items, and maintain yard cleanliness. Responsibilities include learning products and procedures, unloading/loading orders with paperwork/invoices, organizing materials per protocols, safely operating equipment, following yard loading/delivery procedures, recording merchandise returns on credit memos, assisting customers, and performing duties in all weather. Emphasizes ESOP participation, competitive pay, and benefits; requires valid driver’s license, and preferred forklift experience, with High School diploma/GED and strong verbal/computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to stand/walk for 4 -10 hours daily.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50+ pounds at times.
- Strong verbal skills and computer skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and flexible.
