Job Summary
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically, inspecting products for defects and accuracy. Pull, pack, and ship finished goods while loading, unloading, preparing, and operating delivery vehicles. Unload materials from incoming vehicles, stack them to assigned places, and pull orders from shelves to secure onto pallets. Inspect machinery to determine repair needs, communicate with managers regarding equipment maintenance, and ensure tools are cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift. Maintain a safe, orderly facility environment by following safety measures and occasionally assisting on local job-sites for building, tearing down structures, and loading trucks. This full-time, direct hire role offers $21 hourly pay with overtime, medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401K match. Bi-lingual Spanish and English candidates are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current Valid Drivers License
- Be willing to travel occasionally to sites under construction in the US
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Able to work overtime occasionally
- Able to read and understand safety instructions
- Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs
- High school or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift License Preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Familiar with basic hand tools
- Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
- Forklift experience and license preferred
- Willing to complete forklift training preferred
- Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
- Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required
- Stand continuously for long periods of time
- Is exposed to excessive noise
- Is around moving machinery
- Is exposed to dust
- May be required to work outdoors
- Wearing of safety clothing and equipment may at times be required
