Job Summary
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically, pull orders from shelves, and place and secure them onto pallets. Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles while unloading materials from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places. Inspect products for defects and accuracy, inspect machinery to determine repair needs, and communicate with managers regarding equipment maintenance. Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed, maintain tools and equipment, and help maintain a safe, orderly facility environment. May occasionally assist on local job-sites for building, tearing down structures, and loading trucks. This full-time direct hire role requires standing continuously, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working outdoors in noisy areas with moving machinery. Bi-lingual Spanish and English is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English
- Familiar with basic hand tools
- Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
- Able to work overtime occasionally
- Able to read and understand safety instructions
- Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs
- High school or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Fork lift experience and license preferred
- Willing to complete fork lift training preferred
- Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
- Forklift License Preferred
