Job Summary
Yard Associate at Bliffert Lumber in Germantown: load and unload building materials, coordinate with Dispatch/store manager to maintain flow and readiness of loads, assist walk-in and B2B customers, verify deliveries against purchase orders, operate power tools and saws safely, maintain yard organization, and contribute to customer satisfaction through accurate handling and communication. Must read measuring materials, manage time effectively, and have forklift experience (certification preferred). Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Building materials knowledge
- Ability to read and use measuring materials
- Strong time-management skills
- Understand basic math
- Valid Driver’s License
- Forklift experience, forklift certified will take preference
- Able to lift to 75lbs frequently
