Yard and Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
Maintain a clean, organized yard and warehouse, including fences and open areas free of weeds, trash, and obstacles. Receive, classify, and stock incoming goods while verifying against paperwork, then pull and prepare merchandise per loading tickets for delivery or pickup. Operate a forklift to safely load and unload materials, perform daily inspections, and create deliveries for outgoing parts. Manage accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and complete data entry and related paperwork accurately. Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, and maintain required safety training. Provide professional customer service at all times while working all shifts in extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track inventory and maintain a clean work area
- Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work all shifts and arrive on time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to frequently stand, sit, walk, kneel, stoop, and reach, with occasional climbing or balancing
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification or prior forklift experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP, with flexibility to learn new systems
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Customer service experience
