Job Summary
Store Manager for Yankee Candle in Chesterfield, MO responsible for building a high performing team, recruiting, onboarding, developing and retaining top talent; meeting staffing goals including seasonal hiring; coaching and performance management; delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving sales, and maintaining store appearance and safety; implementing selling strategies, loyalty programs, KPI achievement; managing scheduling, inventory, and loss prevention; ensuring plan-o-grams and visual standards are executed; leveraging product knowledge and customer relationships to maximize store performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School completion or equivalent GED
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role (3+ years preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Solution oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
