Job Summary
Assist Store Manager in delivering exceptional guest experience and driving profitable sales growth in a Yankee Candle retail store. Responsibilities include building and coaching a high-performing team, onboarding and ongoing development, handling HR-related performance matters, motivating and retaining staff, and maintaining a positive work environment. Focus on delivering an emotionally engaging guest experience through product knowledge and selling strategies, driving loyalty via the Rewards program, and ensuring store appearance and visual standards through plan-o-grams. Support inventory management, safety and loss prevention, and achievement of KPIs through strategic planning and execution. Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment and be available for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School completion or equivalent GED
- Proven experience in a retail management role (2 years preferred)
