Job Summary
Provide top-tier inpatient and outpatient consultative cardiovascular care at Yale New Haven Hospital and affiliated facilities, managing patients across a broad spectrum of conditions in a multidisciplinary environment. Diagnose and treat complex cases while contributing to the Section's academic mission through teaching, clinical or translational research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development. Mentor medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows within a collaborative culture of leading clinicians and researchers. This balanced role offers 60%+ clinical time with flexible opportunities to integrate subspecialty interests in Cardiac Imaging, Heart Failure, or Preventive Cardiology based on your career stage.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Successful completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine
- Meet criteria for faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine on either the Academic Clinician (AC) track or Clinician Educator Scholar (CES) track
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced training, experience, or specialized interest in Cardiac Imaging, Heart Failure, or Preventive Cardiology
