Job Summary
Bridge communication between the executive leadership team and internal departments while managing special projects and prioritizing sensitive matters expeditiously. Serve as an adjunct member of the executive leadership team by attending meetings, ensuring the group is well-prepared for commitments, and representing CIRI at business, community, and shareholder events. Draft correspondence, coordinate strategic communications, and lead efforts to build relationships with business partners and the community. Support education on ANCSA and CIRI's history while participating in learning opportunities to enhance leadership skills. Travel frequently with the executive leadership team and work from Anchorage, Washington, D.C., or remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Seven+ years' experience in business, organizational leadership, finance, operations, legal or related field
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Ability to pass a background and driving record check
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in business or advanced degree in relevant field preferred
- Work experience that illustrates a knowledge of ANCSA and/or Alaska Native cultures preferred
