Y Learning Center Site Assistant

Attend to the needs of participating children at all times while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Plan and lead daily curriculum-based lesson plans and activities approved by the Site Supervisor. Set up and clean up physical learning environments, prepare necessary materials and supplies, and maintain equipment standards. Establish relationships with school and YMCA staff through attendance at meetings and events. Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and assume shared responsibility for housekeeping tasks. Serve prepared healthy snacks to children and maintain required paperwork. Understand all emergency site procedures and record drills. Perform other assigned duties as directed by the Supervisor.
