Job Summary
Architect, manage, and optimize enterprise IT environments across identity, cloud, and infrastructure platforms, including Okta, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Nutanix clusters. Lead automation initiatives by developing Python and PowerShell pipelines to replace manual workflows, enforce least-privilege access models, and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions. Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation while maintaining system observability through Splunk and Tenable. Enforce security compliance, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery strategies across hybrid cloud and on-premises systems. Partner cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to establish structured change management and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience similar and related to the role.
- Strong expertise in Okta (SSO, lifecycle management, MFA)
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Strong expertise in Nutanix and virtualization platforms
- Strong expertise in Active Directory
- Strong expertise in Endpoint management platforms (Intune, JAMF, Workspace ONE)
- Proficiency in macOS, Windows, and Linux administration
- Experience with Python or PowerShell
- Experience with automation using tools like Python or PowerShell
- Experience with IAM, cloud and SaaS platforms, infrastructure management
- Experience with Okta SDKs, Microsoft Graph API, Nutanix APIs, REST APIs, and other platform frameworks
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management solutions
- Experience with Splunk, Tenable, BigFix, and related platforms
- Experience with monitoring and alerting across applications, endpoints, and infrastructure
- Experience with system observability through metrics, logging, and external system outputs
- Experience with incident detection, response, remediation, and root cause analysis
- Experience with post-incident reviews and implementing corrective and preventative improvements
- Experience with platform hardening standards across cloud and on-prem environments
- Experience with compliance with organizational and industry frameworks
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, remediation workflows, and audit readiness
- Experience with disaster recovery, redundancy, and rollover strategies
- Experience with maintaining updated recovery plans and testing failover processes
- Experience with developing and enforcing system usage policies, documentation standards, and operational best practices
- Experience with structured change management and release processes
- Experience with partner cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, Engineering, and Business teams
- Experience with managing vendor relationships and escalation processes (Microsoft, Okta, Nutanix, etc.)
