Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic radiographic procedures using CR and DR equipment across 43 exam rooms on three floors. Perform daily room and equipment inspections, report maintenance issues, and ensure cleanliness. Review special instructions from medical staff and supervisor, accurately enter and bill charges, and type demographic patient information into PACS. Plan safe patient transfers in wheelchairs and contribute to quality management and control programs. Participate in training new staff while demonstrating professionalism and team growth. Requires a valid Connecticut X-ray technician license, ARRT registration, and two years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of approved school of radiology
- Valid Connecticut X-ray technician license
- ARRT registered
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience as X-ray technician
- Orthopaedical experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- State of New York licensure
- ARRT eligible
