Job Summary
Perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures by adjusting equipment settings, determining proper voltage and exposure, and positioning patients while administering contrast media as needed. Interface with patients to ascertain medical history, explain procedures, and review charts for missed clinical information or consent. Obtain prior films to perform high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation, transfer images to other locations, and coordinate scan protocols. Maintain equipment, inspect for quality concerns or failures, and report issues immediately. Assist physicians in examinations, attend to patient care before, during, and after the exam, and notify appropriate parties if conditions change.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years' experience in X-Ray
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed

- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately

- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
- Adheres to Envision's Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies
- Attends annual Compliance training as set forth by the Company
- Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to exert up to 30 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk
