Job Summary
Perform various diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusting equipment settings, determining proper voltage and exposure, and positioning patients while utilizing ionizing radiation. Interface with patients to ascertain medical history, explain procedures, and obtain the best possible images by reviewing charts for missed information or consent. Obtain prior films, perform high-quality scans for Radiologist interpretation, and transfer images as needed. Coordinate scan protocols with the Radiologist, maintain and inspect equipment, and report quality concerns or failures immediately. Assist physicians in examinations using contrast media or tomographic exams, and notify appropriate parties if patient conditions change.
Required Qualifications
- Two plus years' experience in X-Ray
- Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed

- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Registry in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
- Adheres to Envision's Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies
- Attends annual Compliance training as set forth by the Company
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds of force frequently
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds of force constantly
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
- Must have close vision
- Must be able to adjust focus
- Must be available for Saturdays 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
