Job Summary
Performs diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts equipment settings, positions patients, and assists physicians with contrast media and tomographic examinations. Maintains image quality by coordinating scan protocols with Radiologist, ensures patient safety and comfort, reviews charts, transfers images as needed, and upholds department standards in an outpatient clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
- Current CPR certification
