Job Summary
Perform diagnostic exams in the department, surgery, or at the bedside under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader. Produce high-quality images for radiologist review, maintain accurate records, and complete quality control on equipment. Verify patient identity and orders, adhere to departmental protocols, and monitor patient safety throughout exams while applying radiation protection measures. Assist radiologists when needed and manage supplies and equipment maintenance reporting. Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems is essential to complete and manage studies effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Active KBMIRT at time of hire
- ARRT within 90 days of hire
- BCLS certified within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency with EPIC and IMPAX systems
- Must be available for second shift (4/8's; 1330-2200 Hours Worked M-F; Hours Worked Sat/Sun 1430-2300; 3 week rotating schedule; Works every 3rd weekend, Rotating Call and Holiday Rotation)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
