Job Summary
Under the direction of a radiologist, this X-ray tech performs radiographic procedures, assists with minor office procedures, educates patients on medications, manages the message center, and performs clinical support functions including patient intake assessments and discharges. Responsibilities include maintaining procedure rooms, ensuring equipment is in working order, and following guidelines set by regulatory bodies. The position emphasizes proficiency in IV access, contrast administration, and effective communication within the Imaging Services team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in X-ray procedures and imaging
- Proficiency with EMR and PACS
- Ability to perform medical assistant functions
- Knowledge of ODH and other regulatory guidelines
