Job Summary
Conduct radiologic, fluoroscopic, and diagnostic examinations while performing patient assessment, room preparation, equipment operation, and image evaluation. Verify patient information, pregnancy status, and procedure prescriptions; select appropriate techniques and radiation safety standards. Review images to determine if additional views enhance diagnostic value and use RIS/PACS for data retrieval, order entry, and billing. Document diagnostic and treatment data accurately, perform routine archiving status checks, and execute quality assurance activities based on established protocols. Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and regulatory agency guidelines while performing related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
- A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
- DEXa and Carm experience
- Basic knowledge of radiologic equipment and human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology
- positioning patient and appropriate radiology techniques
- Knowledge of radiation physics, radiation safety, standard precautions, rules and regulations, government regulatory requirements and accrediting standards
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand simple sentences in English
- follow oral and written instructions precisely

- demonstrate an attitude of respect and professionalism
- The position may work on rotating shifts, with work on weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- DEXa and Carm experience highly preferred
