Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging in two or more modalities (XRAY and CT among others) following radiologist protocols, positions patients correctly, and maintains equipment. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information, documents timely in radiology systems, and participates in quality, process, and performance improvement initiatives. Requires completion of an accredited radiologic technology program; ARRT certification in working modalities, Florida licensure, and BLS. CT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment while working as a Multi-Modality Technologist under CT-certified supervision during the first 6 months. Night-shift, full-time role based in Coral Gables, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
- ARRT registered and certified in any of the working modalities
- Florida license
- BLS certification
- CT certification within 6 months of obtaining the position as a condition of employment
