Job Summary
CT Technologist – Medical Imaging at UH Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, supports high-quality CT imaging studies in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborates with radiologists and imaging teams to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient patient care, cross-trains in X-ray and upholding ARRT and ACR standards, and contributes to performance improvement and CQI initiatives while adhering to radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified in ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) upon hire
- BCLS certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to assist and move patients
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and hospital information systems
