XLab Project Associate

XLab Project Associate supports the day-to-day operations of XLab, coordinating the logistical and administrative aspects of programs (including the summer research fellowship) and assisting with planning and executing workshops and events. The role includes supporting student researchers in planning research activities, crafting announcements and materials, tracking program and grant spend with the Financial Administrator, handling external inquiries, and assisting with grant proposals and other written materials under guidance. In-person at the University of Chicago. Requirements include a college/university degree (Bachelor's preferred) and <2 years of related work experience. Skills include strong writing and communications, familiarity with Office programs, online collaboration tools, basic HTML, and AV equipment. Pay rate ranges from $33.00 to $40.00 per hour, with potential for ongoing funding depending on grants.
