Job Summary
Conduct residential canvassing sales by knocking every door within assigned territory to promote and sell Comcast video, high-speed Internet, voice, and XFINITY Home offerings. Evaluate individual customers' existing and potential product needs to make recommendations, frame responses to competitive offers, and implement effective sales closing techniques to achieve product installation goals. Independently establish daily sales activities, execute turf management plans, and generate business through approved lead generation methods while meeting and exceeding established sales targets. Demonstrate advanced technical capability and customer service skills to communicate effectively and develop rapport with customers in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2-5 Years
- Ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
- Must meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Advanced knowledge of Comcast products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers
- Thorough and recent competitive knowledge of features, benefits, product differences, pricing and campaigns for video, high-speed internet, voice and XFINITY Home
- Expert knowledge of selling
- Effective communication, organizational and people skills

- Strong technical capability (computer knowledge, billing system, databases)
- Ability to obtain and maintain any credentials and/or licenses necessary to sell and/or design alarm systems as required by law
