Job Summary
Conduct feature-length articles on software updates, AI tools, productivity apps, self-hosting, and home labs under tight deadlines. Sourcing the latest computing developments, share tips, tutorials, and videos while reviewing devices, apps, and games. Input work into the in-house CMS, find and format images according to guidelines, and coordinate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software releases, AI advancements, and the self-hosting ecosystem. Applicants must submit a CV, cover letter, and two to three feature-length tech articles demonstrating writing abilities, with only those containing relevant samples reviewed by the hiring team.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in writing and editing feature-length content in the English language
- Ability to think analytically; providing expert-level perspective on software, tools, and workflows
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with productivity tools, AI platforms, and/or self-hosted environments (NAS, Docker, etc.)
- 2-3 feature-length tech articles you've written that demonstrate your writing abilities
