XCT Application Developer

XCT Application Developer at Applied Materials in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Develops XCT application capabilities by creating x-ray tomography recipes (parameters like accelerating voltage, slant angle, and number of projections) to optimize throughput and image quality for customer problems. Identifies system-level gaps (e.g., detector readout, geometry constraints) and reports findings to the BU. Tests new algorithms with customer datasets and defines development paths; there is a bonus potential to develop additional algorithms and scripts. Serves as a technical systems expert, debugging EPICS controllers and Linux challenges. Collaborates with the business unit and customers to design experiments (DOE) on mission-critical tasks such as dose reduction and dose monitoring. Willingness to travel up to 50% is expected.
