Job Summary
Provide foreign language support services including transcription, translation, and interpretation for military interrogations, intelligence collection, and operational missions. Deliver cultural and ethnic context for translations to clarify the intent of terms with multiple valid interpretations. Perform document exploitation, scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents and intercepted data to extract information meeting military criteria, supplementing work with expertise in medicine, science, engineering, or legal fields. Requires US citizenship, ILR level 3 proficiency in Arabic Hassaniyya and English, two years of translation experience, and in-depth geopolitical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- 2 years' experience of interpretation / translation
- Interagency Language Round Table (ILR) level 3 in both Target Language and English
