Job Summary
Greet patients, explain procedures compassionately, and position them for diagnostic imaging while practicing ALARA radiation protection. Process images for quality control, prepare them for physician review, and utilize digital and non-digital equipment in compliance with approved protocols. Aid providers with prescribed treatments, perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs, and complete forms to maintain records. Serve as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Assistant when needed. This role supports physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease at American Family Care locations, which operate seven days a week with onsite lab and x-ray capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- six months to one-year related experience and/or training
- Licensed per state regulation
- ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification or registry
- Practical Nursing License
- EMT or Paramedic certification
