Job Summary
Greet patients in waiting areas and exam rooms while communicating treatment steps and providing direction. Perform x-ray testing using body mechanics and patient movement knowledge, operate diagnostic equipment, and develop films. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, and medications; assist with patient transfers and front desk check-in/out procedures. Execute follow-up calls with urgency and perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure exam quality. Prepare patients for procedures following safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions. Maintain current licensure and diagnostic imaging skills through ongoing education.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
