Job Summary
Greet patients in waiting areas and exam rooms while communicating clearly about wait times and next steps. Perform x-ray testing using proper body mechanics, operate diagnostic equipment, and prepare rooms with necessary supplies. Obtain and document patient vital signs, history, and medications; assist with transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Ensure equipment functionality, follow quality control procedures, and maintain current licensure and certification. Complete required documentation for all patient visits and recognize emergent situations requiring immediate assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend shifts
- Must be available for Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Must be available for Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Must be available for Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Must be available for every other weekend
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
