Job Summary
Conduct x-ray testing including body mechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, prepare rooms with necessary supplies, and perform Medical Assistant duties. Promptly greet patients, communicate wait times, and provide direction for treatment steps. Obtain and document vital signs, history, and medications; assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by providers. Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and follow radiation protection protocols. Complete required documentation and ensure proper licensure and certification. Full-time team members work rotating 36-40 hour shifts with 12-hour weekdays and every-other weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- Must be available for rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule
- Must be available for 12-hour weekday shifts
- Must be available for every-other weekend shifts
- Must be available for Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Must be available for Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Must be available for Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
