X-Ray Technologist

Operate diagnostic X-ray imaging equipment and materials; position and assist patients to obtain quality images; ensure image accuracy and labeling per Radiation Safety Officer standards; shield patients from unnecessary radiation; maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and patient demographics; transfer images to LifeImage and coordinate with SB imaging department; prepare CDs with images; communicate with consulting agency for equipment inspections; maintain a clean, safe X-ray room and ensure regulatory compliance; strong interpersonal skills to reassure nervous patients and provide clear instructions.
