Job Summary
Deliver diagnostic-grade X-ray images with precision, correct positioning, and real-time evaluation to ensure clean results for physicians. Perform high-quality exams while maintaining ALARA radiation safety principles, proper infection control, and accurate documentation in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems. Manage your own workflow, troubleshoot equipment issues, and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision in an outpatient setting. Provide full patient attention, clear explanations, and hands-on mentorship to rotating students. No overnight on-call, no trauma bays, and predictable shift schedules ending when due.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Valid state licensure current (where required)
- BLS certification current or in progress
- Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
- Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
- Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates
- Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
- Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug and background screening
- Some positions will require a favorable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred
- outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
