Job Summary

ROCC X-Ray Technologist provides support under the remote supervision of an ROCC MRI technologist, assisting with patient preparation (including initiating IV access and preparing contrast materials), and may support multiple imaging modalities within the radiology department. Responsibilities include positioning patients for MRI, starting IV sites, injecting contrast per protocols, adhering to radiation safety standards, cleaning and disinfecting equipment, maintaining orderly work areas, entering data in the RIS to capture charges, and collaborating with the team to ensure quality service while complying with OSHA, TJC, ACR, and other standards. The role is full-time with a 4:00 PM–10:00 PM shift (Mon-Fri) at MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT, with a sign-on incentive up to $5,000 and a pay range of $26.00–$40.29 per hour plus shift differentials.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate AMA approved radiology program
  • Registered with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
  • CT state license
  • Maintenance of continuing education credits as required by licensure
  • CPR certification
