Job Summary
Produce diagnostic radiographs while maintaining patient safety and operate radiographic equipment to the Radiologist's satisfaction. Assure completed exams are submitted with all paperwork for interpretation, assist in contrast agent administration, and respond to patient needs. Practice sterile techniques, create imaging discs, and troubleshoot PACS issues. Assist with fluoroscopic examinations and maintain current knowledge on equipment and procedures. Ensure strict confidentiality and display a positive attitude. Requires ARRT registration, Florida CRT license, BLS certification, and one year of radiology experience. Full-time outpatient role with flexible hours from 7am to 7pm, including evenings and weekends, and potential travel to White-Wilson clinics.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Current registration - ARRT from an AMA approved school and state certification
- Current Florida license - CRT
- Current American Heart Association recognized Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum one year's experience in a broad-based radiology department
- Ability to lift objects up to 40lbs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to see, talk or hear
- Ability to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, balance, crouch or crawl
- Ability to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency
- Repetitive motion of upper body
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel to all White-Wilson clinics
- Regular and reliable attendance
