Job Summary
Conduct all radiographic examinations and equipment maintenance in the assigned work area, ensuring proper patient positioning and image receptor selection. Identify each patient, review requisitions for consistency with ordered exams, and apply appropriate patient care protocols. Maintain quality assurance/control records required by the ACR, State Department of Health Services, and credentialing organizations. Work in an outpatient setting with no on-call shifts or overnights, supported by Radiology Partners' national resources and local leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
- Certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.) by the State Medical Board
- Current CPR and AED certification
