Required Qualifications

• •Completion of course in Radiological Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists
• •Must maintain certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (AART)
• •Active Indiana State license
• •Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to perform x-ray testing
• •Knowledge of and experience with radiology equipment
• •Knowledge of safety hazards common to radiology including equipment, body mechanics, and patient movement
• •Skill in properly positioning patients and identifying equipment problems
• •Knowledge and understanding of common safety hazards and conditions present in a clinic environment
• •Ability to establish a safe work environment
• •Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs and feelings of others

• •Vision must be correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and review developed films
• •Hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts and to interact directly with patients
• •Regularly interacts with staff, physicians, and the public
• •Work may be stressful at times
